If I were having a girls’ weekend in the woods with my friends, like the characters in J.T. Ellison’s “Catwood,” this is what I would want to be drinking.

Catwood Cocktail is a blend of sweet berry and piney rosemary, perfect for autumnal eves.

Ingredients

Fresh sprigs of rosemary

Vodka

Black raspberry flavored seltzer

Ginger ale

Directions

Prepare rosemary infused vodka in advance by placing 2 springs of rosemary in a bottle of vodka and let sit in a dark place for a few days.

To make the drink:

Mix 2 ounces of rosemary vodka with 4 ounces black raspberry flavored seltzer in a Moscow mule mug. Add a few cubes of ice and fill with ginger ale.

Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig and enjoy with good company!
